Local label Temasek Clothings offers Indonesia haze assistance with ‘Car Wash Theory’
SERANGOON - Homegrown T-shirt label Temasek Clothings may have found a solution to the haze, which in recent weeks has passed the Hazardous range, according to local PSI readings.
Co-founders Slash Anburn (not foreign talent), 30 and Soh Hei Zee, 27, have launched a limited edition Haze Collection on their online store, basing their haze solution on what is commonly known as the Car Wash Theory.
The 'Car Wash Theory' — a solution to the #SGhaze?
The Car Wash Theory is the widespread belief that washing one's car will initiate an onslaught of torrential rain and/or bird droppings, rendering cleaning efforts worthless. The term was coined in 1886, when the first car was made and inevitably required washing.
“Similarly, we believe that the moment you buy a haze-related T-shirt, the haze would have gone away, making your brand new T-shirt completely irrelevant,” said Hei Zee.
“But at least, there would be no more haze. Everyone has a part to play and together, we can solve the haze problem.”
